TERMS & CONDITIONS
The section « terms & conditions » published on our website highlights key contract clauses and does not replace full contract terms. The complete contract lease is to be signed by both parties in 2 copies . It is a binding document .
1. PAYMENT : see « How to book ? »
2. CANCELLATION OF THE LEASE
- In the case of a cancellation by the LESSEE more than 90 days before the first day of rent, the down payment shall be refunded to him/ her less a €250 charge plus 3% banking fees.
- In the case of a cancellation by the LESSEE within 90 days before the first day of rent no refunds will be given. However, above enactments can be amended at the sole discretion of the LESSOR contingent to the situation. In the case where the LESSOR is able to re-rent the apartment, he will partly refund the LESSEE prorata temporis.
3. ARRIVAL :
A member of Paris Classical Flats will personally greet you at the apartment . We will provide you with all relevant information about the area (shops, restaurants…) about the building (we remind you that you or any accompanying party should refrain from any activity that would disturb the peace of neighbors and others in the area). We will also provide you with instructions regarding the apartment and its appliances.
- Chek-in time : 02 :00 pm However, if the apartment was ready before 2 :00 pm , we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible. Otherwise, we offer a luggage storage facility. As you arrive at the airport or at the train station, we advise you to call Paris Classical Flats as soon as possible in order to ensure a smooth and timely reception. Late check-in (after 11pm) is subject to a €50,00 additional fee.
- Entry in the premises will be granted only upon fulfilling the following conditions:
- The entire rent amount has been settled beforehand or at check-in.
- The security deposit has been cashed in its entirety at check-in. : A security deposit equal to the overall rent, for leases up to a fortnight, and is equal to one month of rent for leases over a fortnight shall be paid by the LESSEE at check-in in the form either of cash (any currency) or travelers checks. The security deposit shall be refunded to the LESSEE at check-out upon return of the keys, providing no spoiling or damage of any kind to the apartment or all furniture, equipments and appliances, adornments, garnishments or other item
- The insurance certificate has been presented to your greeter. The LESSEE must subscribe with a reputable insurance company a household multi risk and liability insurance
- The check-in Inspection and inventory report has been agreed upon and signed. The apartment cleaning worksheet is provided at check-in. If you don’t feel like tidy the apartment or if you don’t have enought time , you can ask for the end-of stay cleaning package which costs €60 . Should you want it let us know asap or at last 12h before your departure.
4. DEPARTURE
- Check-out time : 12 : 00
In case of very early departure, the check-out can take place the day before - Check-out :
The inspection :
At the end of the stay, the LESSEE shall leave the premises in clean condition and good repair. Should cleaning appear necessary during check-out inspection, it will be charged at an hourly rate as indicating in the Specific conditions The optional housekeeping package per stay is €60. You might also like to do the house-keeping yourself, as long as it complies with the apartment cleaning worksheet (provided at check-in).
The security deposit shall be refunded to the LESSEE at check-out upon return of the keys, providing no spoiling or damage of any kind to the apartment or all furniture, equipments and appliances, adornments, garnishments or other item included therein has been noted on the check-out report as drawn up by the parties. Should any spoiling or damage of any kind to the apartment or all furniture, equipments and appliances, adornments, garnishments or other item included therein be recorded, the LESSOR shall refund the security deposit to the LESSEE less the amount due for repairs or replacement, no more than 60 days after the LESSEE's departure.
5. EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED
Are included in the rental fee :
- Electricity consumption for short term leases less than one month only.
- Phone: free telephone calls to fixed lines in a selected number of countries and to cell phones in the USA (please ask for country list if required).
- High-speed internet access
- Selected TV channels (including English speaking channels).
- Bed linen and towels
- Paris Guide , brochure and different kind of information about Paris and your neighbourhood
- Hand soap , shampoo and shower lotion.
- Starter supplies of dishwasher and laundry soaps, garbage bags and paper towels
6. OTHER EXPENSE AND TAXES
- Electricity consumption (medium to long term leases over one month only)
- Phone and specific VOD and TV services (exclusive of internet broadband and basic TV channels).
- The optional housekeeping package per stay costs a minimum of €60,00. Depending on the state of cleanliness of the premises at checkout this cost can be increased. The LESSOR is entitled to automatically charge the End of stay cleaning package
- Housekeeping: €20,00/Hr All taxes included, at your request during your stay.
7. NOT ALLOWED
- No smoking
- No pets
- The number of people must not exceed the number mentioned in Specific Conditions of the contract lease agreement which usually corresponds to the number of sleeping places of the premises.
8. EQUIPMENT BREAKDOWN
- Should you inform us as soon as possible about any problem in the apartment , our technical team always does its best to come and rectify the problem .
- The LESSEE shall notify our technical team as soon as of any damage or defacement occurring on the leased premises including any breakdown or malfunction of household electrical appliances even if the extent of the damage cannot be ascertained.
- The LESSEE shall allow work for the purpose of improving the building's common areas or premises, as well as maintenance operations and works to be performed on the premises during the lease period, when it is obvious such work cannot be postponed (as per provisions set by article 1724 of the French Civil Code). There can be no reduction of rent or compensation in the case of emergency repairs.
- Paris Classical Flats cannot t be held responsible for breakdowns of mechanical equipment in common area or failure of public utilities.
9. SERVICES & HELP
Paris Classical Flat team remains at your disposal in order to organize following services:
